PUEBLO, CO – Nov. 5, 2024 – Paula McPheeters has made history as Pueblo County’s first Republican female commissioner, securing a decisive victory that ushers in a new era for the community. Running on a platform of public safety, economic development, community engagement, and transparent government, McPheeters garnered overwhelming support from voters countywide.
“I am truly honored by the trust the people of Pueblo County have placed in me,” McPheeters said in her victory speech. “I want to thank every voter, volunteer, and supporter who believed in our message and worked tirelessly for this campaign.”
Since announcing her candidacy in October 2023, McPheeters has focused on addressing common-sense issues facing Pueblo County citizens
